Web Enabled Applications Development                                       

We are constantly developing new web enabled applications with an emphasis on stability and user friendliness. These applications are complimenting our desktop applications. For example, "The Business Integrator" has an order entry web application that allows your customers to enter orders which are then inducted without any further data entry into the desktop system. In fact, the web enabled application has more search ability designed for an unskilled user in mind.

Brief operating instructions.

  1. After login you see the list of Purchase Orders that other testers have created. You may browse them or press the button "New Purchase Order"

  2. Enter any fictitious PO number.

  3. You may select "head office" or a ship-to location. Press "Continue"

  4. You may change any of the fields on the left and enter comments. Press "Continue"

  5. You may select an item to order by Code, Category or phrase in the description. Press "Search" beside your selection.

  6. A list of item(s) is presented with price, availability and picture designation if exist.

  7. Beside Item Code and Description you can see arrow up and arrow down. This allows you to sort the list by ascending or descending order.

  8. Press on the red columns. A new window is presented where you can enter quantity and see the picture if available. Press "Post"

  9. Repeat for as many item you want to order. When finished press "View Selected Items"

  10. Press "Save"  if you want to add later on more items before submitting.

  11. Press "Print" to get a printout of the PO.

  12. Press "Submit" to send the PO to "Yellowstone Wholesale Inc.". In the real system, this submission is inducted into "The Business Integrator" system to create a sales order. It also sends an e-mail to "Yellowstone" company and a confirmation notice to the ordering customer. The e-mail of the ordering customer is taken from his customer file.

  13. You can also browse the whole catalog by pressing "Products" from the top left corner of the screen.
